Greentec Energy provides professional energy management services to companies, implementing green energy solutions to reduce operational costs, cut CO2 emissions, and increase power availability. As a Business Consultant, you will be integral to further establish Greentec Energy’s offering in the B2B marketplace and develop industry-specific energy transformation solutions with the company team.

You will be responsible for creating solid databases and business cases for green energy projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. Your primary role will be in analyzing commercial data and industry trends, identifying target accounts, and providing coherent, intelligent, and actionable reports for business development. An effective Business Consultant will (1) have a strong aptitude for learning, (2) be passionate about the renewable energy industry and deploying decarbonization solutions, (3) have excellent research and analytics aptitude, and (4) be able to translate data into actionable insights.

Your responsibilities:

• Participate in workshops to gather relevant data and insights from customers and stakeholders

• Aggregate data and build solid databases

• Analysing commercial data such as budgets, financial performance, and forecasts

• Develop business cases and data models

• Conducting detailed market research and competitive analysis

• Collaborate with technical teams and third-party experts to develop industry-specific green energy solutions and transformation roadmaps

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Economics/Engineering with good grades

• Ideally +2 years of relevant work experience through e.g. internships or first job assignments

• Proven experience in analysing data, building quantitative models and data visualization

• Advanced Excel skills

• Highly motivated self-starter

• Excellent time and project management skills

• Structured, results-oriented work attitude

• Good English skills
